How to diagnose and treat gastroduodenal ulcers (EGUS) in foals.

Dr. Frank M. Andrews is a graduate of Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Pullman, Washington, where he received a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Science in Veterinary Science.  He completed an equine internal medicine residency at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. After 20 years at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine as Professor and Section Chief of Internal Medicine, he is currently LVMA Equine Committee Professor and Director of the Equine Health Studies Program at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine and a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM). Dr. Andrews was staff veterinarian at the XXVI Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia in 1996 and has clinical and research interests in the effects of exercise on electrolytes and other clinical pathologic parameters and pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of gastric ulcer disease in horses.
