Sarah graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2001. This was followed by an internship at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket, under Dr Sue Dyson, one of the world experts in sports horse lameness. After a period in general equine practice in the UK, Sarah moved to Australia where she completed a second internship at Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital, staying on in an ambulatory/stud role, and later as a surgical resident under Dr Jim Vasey. Sarah became a specialist surgeon in 2011, and in recent years has presented at a number of conferences throughout Australia and in the UK at the British Equine Veterinary Association. She has been a partner at the Victorian Equine Group since 2012. She enjoys every single aspect of equine veterinary work.
